About MIZUHIKI
Japanese traditional arts
What is MIZUHIKI?
MIZUHIKI is yarn on washi [traditional japanese paper ] made by japanese craftsmanship.
Rice glue is applied to washi before the washi is extended into a yarn.
After,the yarn is wound with silk.
With this yarn we can create beautiful shapes.
Tying MIZUHIKI strongly symbolies a strong bond and friendship.
